THE MATSYA AWATAR
Matsya Awatar is the first incarnation of the Lord Vishnu
It symbolises the beginning of life on earth
A story conveys in Sanatan and Abrahmic religion
King Vaivasvata Manu (the progenitor of mankind) was praying in a river
A tiny fish was crying for rescue
The King rescued the tiny fish
Kept in his kamandal , took it to his house
Put it in a vessel, the fish started enlarging
Every time the King changed the vessel
Finally the King put the fish into the sea
Then Lord Vishnu incarnated in the form of fish
Told the King there will be a great flood
The entire earth will be submerged in water
To cleanse the earth with massive deluge
Lord ordered the King to make a Big boat
Put all species and vedas in the boat
During this transition Vedas were stolen by demon Hayagriva
Lord Vishnu killed the demon and gave it to Brahma
Tied up the boat using basuki with the horn of fish
The fish took it to the top of Himalayas
And thus saved the earth
An another story is described in Old testament
It appears the concept of great flood lies arround with all culture and civilization
