New breeze entered in my courtyard
astonished me of its arrival
I was not aware of
my panic and strife
was it trespasser, entered
in my courtyard without objuration
Its obnoxious deed
made me worried
but new breeze was lucent
appropriately made the room
and now dwells with me.

नीलाम

यह कविता मै 1975 में लिखी थी। इमर्जेंसी का दौर था। कविता कुछ इस तरह से है। बिक गई है यह जमी , बिक गया है आसमा  बिक गए सारे चमन, बिक गया है कारवां। बिक गए कण कण भू गर्भ के  बिक गए पेड़ पौधे पशु पंछिया  अब कुछ न रहा इस जहां में  है सारा जहां अब बिक चुका  जो कुछ रहा रस्मों के नाम पर  वह भी तो अब बिक चुका।। विज्ञान की उपलब्धियां भी  गई व्यापार के इस खेल में  जाने और आबरू भी  बिक चुके अब कौड़ियों के मोल में।। कुछ बिका इंसाफ के नाम पर  कुछ बिके राहत के नाम पर  हकीकत की दुनिया में रहने वाले भी  बिक चुके अब इंकलाब के नाम पर।। जिसने जितना पाया लूटा खसोटा  कुछ धर दबोचा और अंत तक  व्यापार कर मढ लिया सरताज को  बस हालात अब आ चुकी है  जब इंसान भी अब बिक चुका।। तब तलक तो मुझको यारो  जी लेने दो अपने ख्यालों में  खामोशियों में गर कुछ जिन्दगी को  बस जिन्दगी दे दे।
