I SEARCHED YOU

I Searched You 

I searched you in Mosque, Church,
Temple, Gurdwara, and at so many places 
where you are being chanted 
with various names of God or 
any powerful spirit of nature 

I found solace and peace 
for the time being 
but when I returned to my hermitage 
disappointment starred me 

I sat on meditation 
chanted your various names
 but still disappointment followed me 

So, I came out beneath the open sky 
in the field, then 
I saw you ploughing fields 
sowing seeds of life 
without caring sun and rain 
for creation of new life and
for survival of the existing life 

I saw you in blooming flowers 
without caring about sun, rain, thunder and storms 
spreading thy fragrance, 
pleasing all passers by 
I saw you being ripened with fruits and corns 
for nourishment of all lives 

I saw you making roads 
hugging sun, rain and bitter cold 
in your bosom, for all the travelers of the world 
making them reach 
to the goal of their lives 

I saw you, building mansions 
irrespective of seasons for comfort of lives 
self residing under the roof of a thousand ventilations 
and rejoicing the natural phenomenon of life 

I saw you in whore lanes 
selling her body for survival of her life 
and survival of lives of dependents 
and for her kids 

I saw you in whore lanes 
entertaining her customers 
to rejoice  the fun of life 

I saw you flying in open sky 
chirping the song of freedom 
choosing the grains in the field 
for amusement of natural life. 

I saw you in shambles 
sacrificing the life of cattle 
being slaughtered brutally 
for making delicious dishes 
to rejoice  the fun of life 

I saw you in the fragrance 
of thy sweat coming out 
due to days' toil 

I saw you in changing seasons of life 

I saw you giving rain and light 

I saw you in sky, water, in land 

I saw you 
evolving for creation of new life 
for a new fuller life and its decay.

Note  : My this poem  got one thousand dollars in poem hunter poetry contest. For few days it was being displayed in dash board of poem hunter site but later on it was removed . Reason Some person objected over my poem.

नीलाम

यह कविता मै 1975 में लिखी थी। इमर्जेंसी का दौर था। कविता कुछ इस तरह से है। बिक गई है यह जमी , बिक गया है आसमा  बिक गए सारे चमन, बिक गया है कारवां। बिक गए कण कण भू गर्भ के  बिक गए पेड़ पौधे पशु पंछिया  अब कुछ न रहा इस जहां में  है सारा जहां अब बिक चुका  जो कुछ रहा रस्मों के नाम पर  वह भी तो अब बिक चुका।। विज्ञान की उपलब्धियां भी  गई व्यापार के इस खेल में  जाने और आबरू भी  बिक चुके अब कौड़ियों के मोल में।। कुछ बिका इंसाफ के नाम पर  कुछ बिके राहत के नाम पर  हकीकत की दुनिया में रहने वाले भी  बिक चुके अब इंकलाब के नाम पर।। जिसने जितना पाया लूटा खसोटा  कुछ धर दबोचा और अंत तक  व्यापार कर मढ लिया सरताज को  बस हालात अब आ चुकी है  जब इंसान भी अब बिक चुका।। तब तलक तो मुझको यारो  जी लेने दो अपने ख्यालों में  खामोशियों में गर कुछ जिन्दगी को  बस जिन्दगी दे दे।

                           O’ God, You are the smile of nature, you have tied up the nature in two ways, material and immaterial, joys and pains are in both, material relation, its access is to all, to all the creatures, but it is perishable. Immaterial relation is very often in the nature, material relation ends with destruction, immaterial relation ends with creation.
