I Always Laugh

I asked the flower
you always laugh
why so?

The flower replied,
I dont know how to weep
so, I always laugh

I laugh in hottest sun
I laugh in chilling cold and also
I laugh in valiant storm

I can die, but I can not weep

The answer of flower was surprising

Again I asked
how do you express your grief
the flower laughed loudly
and said
Grief comes to selfish only
we are not selfish
we know only to give
so, grief can not touch us

I appreciated answer of flower.

यह कविता मै 1975 में लिखी थी। इमर्जेंसी का दौर था। कविता कुछ इस तरह से है। बिक गई है यह जमी , बिक गया है आसमा  बिक गए सारे चमन, बिक गया है कारवां। बिक गए कण कण भू गर्भ के  बिक गए पेड़ पौधे पशु पंछिया  अब कुछ न रहा इस जहां में  है सारा जहां अब बिक चुका  जो कुछ रहा रस्मों के नाम पर  वह भी तो अब बिक चुका।। विज्ञान की उपलब्धियां भी  गई व्यापार के इस खेल में  जाने और आबरू भी  बिक चुके अब कौड़ियों के मोल में।। कुछ बिका इंसाफ के नाम पर  कुछ बिके राहत के नाम पर  हकीकत की दुनिया में रहने वाले भी  बिक चुके अब इंकलाब के नाम पर।। जिसने जितना पाया लूटा खसोटा  कुछ धर दबोचा और अंत तक  व्यापार कर मढ लिया सरताज को  बस हालात अब आ चुकी है  जब इंसान भी अब बिक चुका।। तब तलक तो मुझको यारो  जी लेने दो अपने ख्यालों में  खामोशियों में गर कुछ जिन्दगी को  बस जिन्दगी दे दे।
